One of the most critical factors influencing the success rate of IVF treatment is the quality of the laboratory. At our clinic, advanced technology systems are used to create the ideal environment for embryo development.
Embryo Culture in Low Oxygen Conditions
Culturing embryos under low oxygen pressure has been shown to improve both development and implantation potential. For this reason, our clinic carefully maintains culture conditions with reduced oxygen levels to support optimal embryo growth.
Optimal Storage with Advanced Incubator Systems
Incubators play a vital role in embryo development. We aim to allocate a dedicated incubator for each patient’s embryos, minimizing the frequency of door openings and ensuring:
- Stable temperature, humidity, and gas balance
- Maximum protection of embryo quality
This approach helps enhance embryo viability and increase pregnancy success rates.
IMSI: Enhancing Fertilization with High-Magnification Sperm Selection
The IMSI (Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection) method involves magnifying sperm up to 6000 times to select the healthiest, most structurally normal sperm for injection. Eggs fertilized with these selected sperm tend to have better developmental potential and higher implantation rates.
At our clinic, IMSI is used routinely and has been shown to positively impact IVF success outcomes.
Monitoring Techniques That Support Embryo Selection
Several advanced monitoring techniques are integrated into our laboratory workflow to increase implantation success:
- Early cleavage monitoring: Embryos are observed soon after fertilization to track the timing and speed of cell division. Embryos that divide early tend to have higher implantation rates.
- Blastocyst culture: Embryos are cultured up to day 5, allowing for the selection of those with strong developmental quality. Blastocysts reaching day 5 generally show greater robustness and implantation potential.
Through these methods, embryo selection becomes significantly more scientific, targeted, and successful.
